Green Beans with Parmesan and Pine Nuts

Green beans go well with chicken and fish dishes. But as an independent dish, it also turns out to be very tasty, especially with pine nuts and fragrant cheese.

How to cook Green Beans with Parmesan and Pine Nuts

Step 1

If you are using fresh beans, trim off the ends and cut in half. Bring water in a saucepan to a boil. Add beans and cook 3 minutes. Drain in a colander, then plunge into cold water to keep the beans bright green.

Step 2

Toast the pine nuts in a dry frying pan for 1 minute. over medium heat, shaking the pan constantly. Pour onto a plate.

Step 3

Peel and finely chop the garlic. Melt the butter in a pan, add the garlic and fry for 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the lemon juice, salt and pepper a little. Once the sauce boils, add the beans to the pan and cook for 3 minutes. Transfer the beans to a platter, sprinkle with parmesan and pine nuts, toss and serve immediately.
