Calamari with chili and garlic

How to cook Calamari with chili and garlic

Step 1

Clean the squids, cut off the tentacles, remove the stem and scrape off the purple spots on the skin with a knife, if any. Rinse in cold water and cut into rings 1 cm thick. Crush the garlic, finely chop the pepper and onion. Place the squid in a non-metal bowl along with the garlic, chili, green onion. Add lemon zest and juice, olive oil. Marinate 5 min. Put a frying pan with a handle on a very high fire. When it warms up well, pour in the squid along with the marinade. Season with salt and fry for 2 minutes. The pan should not be overfilled, so if necessary, squid should be fried in portions.
