How to cook Cherry and red currant jam
Step 1
Grind vanilla seeds with sugar.
Step 2
Currant berries, together with half the sugar, bring to a boil over low heat and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Remove pits from cherries.
Step 4
In a separate saucepan, together with the remaining sugar, heat for 3-5 minutes.
Step 5
Transfer to currants, mix gently and bring to a boil. Boil 2-3 min.
Step 6
Divide into 2 banks. Seal, turn upside down until completely cool.
