Tomato and apple chutney

Cookinero 10 Jan 2023

So I imagine how I will open a fragrant jar in winter and eat it completely with rye bread. Fragrant, moderately sweet and moderately sour, and very tasty chutney.

How to cook Tomato and apple chutney

Step 1

Remove the peel from the tomato (cut crosswise and pour over boiling water for 5 minutes), chop finely.

Step 2

Peel the apples, remove the core and chop finely. Peppers too.

Step 3

Simmer in a heavy-bottomed saucepan until the mixture thickens, 1 to 2 hours.

Step 4

At the end, add spices, salt, after 10 minutes, remove the bay leaf and remove from heat.

Step 5

Cool slightly and arrange in sterilized jars.
