How to cook Potato hamburger buns
Step 1
Boil potatoes in a little water. Save 60 g of broth, cool. Drain the rest of the water, and dry the potatoes in a saucepan for 1 minute. Mash the potatoes into a coarse puree and measure out 1 240 ml (200 g) measuring cup.
Step 2
Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast mixed with some water, potatoes, butter and egg. Knead for 8-10 minutes. Leave the resulting mixture for 45-60 minutes.
Step 3
Divide the dough into 9 pieces, leave under the film for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Shape into round buns and leave them on the proofing tray for 45-60 minutes. Before baking, brush the buns with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake the buns at 220°C for 15-18 minutes.
