Meat casserole

The recipe for a mince casserole came to us from distant Britain, another name for this meat casserole is shepherd's pie. Two layers of potatoes and a filling of beef or lamb, a little rosemary and sauce, a few minutes in the oven and a simple casserole with meat is ready. How to cook it is up to you, as with all casseroles, you can add a variety of ingredients and experiment. Plus, this dish is very practical, you can eat it for several days, and it is undemanding to storage conditions. Just heat it up in the microwave and sprinkle with a little cheese.
How to cook Meat casserole
Step 1

Fry the vegetables and minced meat. Fry the chopped onion and carrot in oil until translucent. Add the minced meat to the vegetables and fry for 20 minutes, stirring all the time. Then cover with a lid and let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
Step 2

Assemble the casserole. Place half of the resulting puree on the bottom of the baking dish, put the vegetables and minced meat on top, cover the layer with the remaining puree.
Step 3

Bake the casserole. Beat the eggs with milk, pour over the casserole. Put the casserole dish in the oven for 30 minutes.
