How to cook Dried fruit bars
Step 1
Dates pour 0.5 cups of water and leave for 30 minutes. Put the dates together with the liquid in a blender, add honey and grind into a paste.
Step 2
Soak raisins in water for 10 minutes. Drain the water, dry the raisins.
Step 3
Spread the oatmeal in an even layer on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 170ºС until golden brown, 10-12 minutes.
Step 4
Finely chop nuts, peaches and dried apricots, mix in a bowl with cereal, add raisins and cherries.
Step 5
Transfer the date paste to a heavy bottomed saucepan, add apple juice and cinnamon, bring to a boil and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and add to the oat-nut mixture, mix.
Step 6
Put the resulting mixture on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper greased with vegetable oil, smooth it and also cover with parchment on top. Bake at 170ºС for 30 minutes. until golden.
Step 7
Leave for 10 min. cool, then cut into 20 rectangles. Let them cool completely and wrap each in cling film, paper or foil.
