Beef roast in a frying pan
Homemade beef roast is a delicious and filling dish. It can be prepared from any part of the carcass. To make the beef roast lean and not tough, it is best to use young veal. To prepare this dish, you will need 400 grams of beef, 500 grams of potatoes, as well as onions and spices. This roast is prepared in a frying pan.
How to cook Beef roast in a frying pan
Step 1

Make a stir-fry for the homemade beef roast. To do this, place a frying pan with 2 tbsp of oil on medium heat. Add the onion and fry for 3 minutes until golden. Remove the onion from the pan and set aside.
Step 2

Fry the meat. To do this, put the beef in the same pan. Stir for 5 minutes and wait until the liquid evaporates from the meat. Pour in the remaining oil. Fry for another 4 minutes.
Step 3
Place half of the onion that you have already prepared on the meat.
Step 4

Add the potatoes to the beef roast. To do this, place them on top of the onions. Add the bay leaf and place the remaining onions on top. Add salt and pepper.
Step 5

Proceed to the final stage. To do this, pour in water. Cover with a lid. When the water boils, reduce the heat and simmer the roast in a frying pan for about 50 minutes.
