Plovburger
Plovburger is a great alternative to the usual sandwiches.
How to cook Plovburger
Step 1
Cooking "buns". Rinse the rice several times, put it in a saucepan, pour water (2 centimeters higher than the rice) and put on the stove. As soon as the rice boils, detect 5 minutes and after this time turn off the stove, add ground pepper and a little olive oil, cover the pan with a lid and let the rice steam for about 30 minutes (there should be no water left in the pan, and the rice will increase in volume). Turn on the oven at 200 degrees. Mix boiled rice with half an egg. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Put rice on a baking sheet in the form of pancakes 0.5 cm thick and put in a preheated oven for 15 minutes (the bottom of each “bun” should turn golden).
Step 2
Meatball preparation. Mix minced meat with 1 tsp. water, egg, ground pepper and herbs. Form a thin cutlet and fry in a pan without oil on both sides.
Step 3
Assembling a plovburger. We put one part of the “bun”, half of the grated cottage cheese with herbs, a slice of tomato, a slice of cheese, a cutlet, the remaining cottage cheese and the second half of the “bun”. This plovburger is perfect for a hearty snack and can be prepared for both adults and children.
