Easter cakes
It happens that it is not always possible to eat all Easter cakes. From such dried Easter cakes we propose to make delicious cakes in the manner of "potatoes".
Ingredients
Servings 12 pieces- milk - 1 tbsp.
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
- vanillin - 1 g
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- starch - 1 tsp. l.
- butter - 150
- Easter cake - 1 piece weighing 300-350 g
- cocoa powder - 1 tbsp. l.
- powdered sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
Cooking
Step 1
So, milk with half the norm of sugar, bring to a boil. Beat eggs with the second half of sugar and vanilla, add to hot milk (I also added starch)
Step 2
Boil the mixture over low heat until thickened.
Step 3
Add soft butter, stir until smooth.
Step 4
Meanwhile, cut the cake into slices and dry in the oven.
Step 5
Then grind with a blender into crumbs.
Step 6
Combine the crumbs and custard until such a state that a homogeneous mass is obtained.
Step 7
Form cakes. Place in refrigerator for 30-45 minutes. If desired, you can sprinkle the cakes with cognac.
Step 8
Combine cocoa with powdered sugar and roll the cake in it. Cake can be decorated with small cream roses.
