Sandwich with herring ice cream and pickled onions

How to cook Sandwich with herring ice cream and pickled onions
Step 1

Red onion, cut into rings or half rings, put in a marinade of salt, sugar and vinegar. Leave it in the marinade until the end of the preparation of herring ice cream.

Finely chop the onion and fry it in vegetable oil. Add cream and simmer until lightly evaporated. Then add finely chopped herring.

Transfer the mixture to a blender, puree it. If desired, add salmon pieces, mix and send to the freezer for 2 hours or cook in an ice cream maker.
Step 4

Put the finished ice cream in the form of a ball on the slices of pickled onions laid on the fried toast. Sprinkle with finely chopped green onions. Optionally, you can add a piece of herring.
