Pickled eggplants for the winter

Russian pickles are famous all over the world. Experienced housewives transform a huge amount of summer vegetable harvest into preserves. How to cook Pickled eggplants for the winter
Step 1

Cut the eggplants, but not all the way through, as shown in the photo.
Step 2

Place black pepper, garlic, and bay leaf in a pre-sterilized jar.
Step 3

Place the eggplant in the jar.
Step 4

Prepare the marinade. Add salt, sugar and vinegar to the water.
