Buns with cinnamon, raisins and walnuts
How to cook Buns with cinnamon, raisins and walnuts
Step 1
For the dough, dissolve the yeast in 0.25 cups of warm water. Heat the buttermilk to about the same temperature as the water, mix them together. Add flour, vegetable oil, white sugar, salt and soda. Mix until a ball forms. Place on a floured surface and knead for 10 minutes. Return the dough to the bowl, cover tightly with cling film and leave in a warm place for 30 minutes. Compress the dough, give it the shape of a rectangle 20x40 cm and leave for another 30 minutes. Prepare the filling: Mix butter, cinnamon, brown sugar, raisins and nuts. Put the filling on the dough, leaving 1 cm free on one (long) side. Roll the dough tightly into a long roll and pinch the edge left without filling. Cut into rings 3 cm thick. Put on a greased baking sheet and leave for 30 minutes. After that, bake in the oven at a temperature of 220ºС for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm.
