Baked new potatoes with white sauce
Description
Serve such potatoes as an independent dish or as a side dish for meat or fish.
Cooking
Step 1
Whole tubers of the same size are washed thoroughly. Put in a shallow saucepan, cover with water, salt and cook until half cooked, 10-12 minutes. Drain the water, dry the potatoes without peeling.
Step 2
Grease a baking sheet with 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer, drizzle with the remaining oil and bake for 20 minutes in the oven at 180ºC. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. To do this, pour the cheese into a saucepan, pour in the wine. Cook over medium heat until the wine has reduced by half. Reduce heat to low, add cream, mix well. Continuing to stir, warm over low heat, without bringing to a boil, add butter. When the butter is melted, add finely chopped dill to the sauce, salt and pepper.
Step 3
Transfer the potatoes to a serving dish, pour over the sauce, garnish with celery leaves.
