It is difficult to explain what a feijoada is. First of all, this is a traditional dish for Portugal and the country's former colonies. The consistency resembles a very thick puree, and the taste is something unique! Brazilians love this dish very much and cook it with beans, pork and cassava flour in portioned pots. Step 1

Soak beans overnight. Drain the water, pour the beans again with 2 liters of cold water.

Add hot water so that it covers the contents by 3 cm. Cook, stirring, over low heat for 45 minutes.

Step 6

Cut orange into circles. Grill the slices of bread. Sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped parsley and garnish with orange circles. Serve white rice separately.
