Figs stuffed with goat cheese
Ingredients
Servings 4 servings- green apple

- For sauce:
- 200 ml natural yoghurt
- 8 figs
- 150 g soft goat cheese
- 0.5 h. l. Cumin
- sugar - 1 tbsp.
- 8 strips of bacon
- sugar - 3 tbsp.
- water
- basil
Cooking
Step 1
1. Heat the pan, reduce the heat to medium, put the bacon strips on the pan. Fry, turning often, until most of the fat is rendered, 10 minutes. The bacon should remain soft. Place it on paper towels to drain excess oil. 2. Cut the figs in half, take out part of the pulp with a teaspoon. Fill the figs with cheese, then put the halves together. 3. Mix sugar, cumin and salt, sprinkle one side of the bacon with the mixture. Wrap each fruit in bacon, sprinkled side out. Fasten with toothpicks. 4. Fry in the same pan until brown, 5 minutes. Let cool, remove toothpicks. 5. Prepare the sauce. Peel the apple, cut into small cubes. Wash, dry and chop the basil. 6. In a saucepan, mix sugar with water, cook for 1 minute. on medium fire. Add apple and basil, cook, stirring constantly, 2 minutes. Pour in yogurt, mix. Warm up 2 min. and pour into saucepan. The sauce can be served either hot or cold. BTW Figs are known by many names - fig, fig, fig. It comes in black and green. Both types can be eaten fresh, with the skin on. Fresh fruits are used to make compotes, jams, fillings for pies. Figs go well with various types of cheese and cheese.
