Bean cream soup
Hearty bean soup with bacon and cheese.
Ingredients
Servings 4- red beans (canned) - 1 can
- white beans (canned) - 1 can
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- red pepper - 1/4 tsp
- smoked bacon - 100 g
- hard cheese - 150 g
- thyme - 1 sprig
- chicken broth - 100 ml
- olive oil - 2 tbsp. l.
- pepper
- dry white wine - 50 ml
- salt
Cooking
Step 1
Finely chop the onion, carrot and bacon. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan, sauté onions and carrots.
Step 2
Add bacon, fry. Add wine, boil. Add the beans and thyme, pour in the broth, cook covered for 10-15 minutes. Puree the soup with a blender. Gently stir in the grated cheese until it melts. Salt, pepper.
