How to cook Vanilla melon
Step 1
Peel the melon from the skin and seeds and cut into small cubes. Put the pieces of melon on the shoulders in jars and pour boiling water over them. We leave for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Drain the liquid from the cans into the pan, add sugar, acid and vanillin. Bring to a boil and fill jars with melon pieces. For a glass of liquid we take 0.5 cups of sugar. If the melon is sweet, then the amount of sugar can be reduced.
Step 3
We put jars with melon in a pot of hot water, bring to a boil and sterilize half-liter jars on low heat for 5 minutes, and 0.7-1 liter jars for 7-10 minutes. Close with sterilized lids and store in a cool place.
