Quiche with chicken - FAQ About Ingredients, Baking Time and Storage

Absolutely! Feel free to add vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, or asparagus. Sauté them with the chicken and onions for the best flavor.
Store leftover quiche in the refrigerator, in an airtight container, for up to 3-4 days.
Yes, you can! Simply omit the chicken and bacon. Consider adding more vegetables or using a vegetarian meat substitute for a heartier filling.
Blind baking the crust before adding the filling can help prevent a soggy bottom. Pricking the dough with a fork also allows steam to escape.
Yes, you can freeze the baked quiche. Let it cool completely, then wrap it tightly in plastic wrap and foil. It can be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw it in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.
A simple green salad or a light soup complements quiche beautifully. A fruit salad also works well for a brunch setting.
While cream provides a richer texture, you can use milk as a substitute. The quiche will be less rich, but still delicious. You can also use half-and-half for a middle ground.
You can reheat the quiche in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until heated through. You can also microwave individual slices, but the crust may not be as crispy.
