Honey duck baked with figs and apples

How to cook Honey duck baked with figs and apples
Step 1

Rinse the duck legs, dry with a napkin, salt and pepper. It is good to heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and quickly fry the duck legs until golden brown, do not cover with a lid.
Step 2

Peel apples from seed boxes, cut into slices, cut figs into 4 pieces.
Step 3

Mix liquid honey, lemon juice (to taste and desire), soy sauce, ground ginger and 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Step 4

Put the fried duck legs, apples, figs into a baking dish (pre-cover with foil), pour out some of the juice formed after frying. Lubricate the legs with honey-soy marinade. Cover with foil, leaving holes for steam to escape. Send to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-60 minutes (depending on the age of the duck!).
Step 5

When the duck legs are almost ready, open the foil and grease the chicken legs with marinade several times with an interval of 5-10 minutes, then continue baking.
Step 6

For a side dish, you can additionally fry apples and figs, if desired, apples can be sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. Serve hot!
