How to cook French sandwich with cheese and bananas
Step 1
Trim the crusts off the bread, if desired. Mix eggs and milk. We rub the cheese on a coarse grater. Mash bananas with a fork. You do not need to press too hard, you can leave small pieces.
Step 2
Combine bananas, cheese, sugar or honey. Mix thoroughly.
Step 3
Put the resulting mass in the center of a piece of bread. You don't need to smudge around the edges. For each piece - approximately 1.5 tsp. Close with the second piece.
Step 4
Dip the resulting toast in the egg-milk mixture. You can leave in the mixture for 1-2 minutes.
Step 5
Heat up the oil in a frying pan. Once hot, reduce the heat to low and immediately add the toast to the skillet.
Step 6
Fry the toast until golden caramel (about 3-4 minutes each side).
Step 7
Put the finished toast on a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional). Cut the toast diagonally, pressing down a little so that the melted cheese appears.
