How to cook French sandwich with cheese and bananas

Step 1

Trim the crusts off the bread, if desired. Mix eggs and milk. We rub the cheese on a coarse grater. Mash bananas with a fork. You do not need to press too hard, you can leave small pieces.

Step 2

Combine bananas, cheese, sugar or honey. Mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Put the resulting mass in the center of a piece of bread. You don't need to smudge around the edges. For each piece - approximately 1.5 tsp. Close with the second piece.

Step 4

Dip the resulting toast in the egg-milk mixture. You can leave in the mixture for 1-2 minutes.

Step 5

Heat up the oil in a frying pan. Once hot, reduce the heat to low and immediately add the toast to the skillet.

Step 6

Fry the toast until golden caramel (about 3-4 minutes each side).

Step 7

Put the finished toast on a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar (optional). Cut the toast diagonally, pressing down a little so that the melted cheese appears.
