Cheese bread
Description
Another recipe for a very quick and easy bread with an incomparable cheese flavor.
Cooking
Step 1
Use your fingertips to grind the yeast into the flour until fine crumbs form. Add salt and water, knead the dough. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. I do this in a mixer with a hook attachment. Even if at first the dough will seem very sticky and watery, knead and gradually it will become pliable. Shape the dough into a ball, place in a floured cup, cover with cling film and leave in a warm place for 2 hours. During this time, you can knead it 1-2 times.
Step 2
Add cheese to the dough and mix well. Divide into 2-3 parts. Roll out into a cake with a thickness of 0.5 cm. With a dough scraper or a knife, first make a longitudinal cut, then two more on the sides and one or two more arbitrary cuts. You can also sprinkle Parmesan on top.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Transfer all products to a baking sheet, ideally on a baking stone, and place in the oven. Drop a dozen ice cubes into the bottom of the oven. Bake 10-12 min. until golden brown.
