Chinese style chicken wings
This fun mix of Chinese and Mexican cuisines will add an exotic touch to even the simplest dinner with a glass of beer.
Ingredients
Servings 2 servings- 10-12 chicken wings (depending on their size)
- lemon or lime slices
- 1 red chili
- 1 piece (2-3 cm) ginger root
- onion - 1 small onion
- 2 tbsp. l. oyster sauce
- dark soy sauce - 2 tbsp. l.
- garlic - 2 cloves
- 1 st. l. dark soy sauce
- rice vinegar - 1 tbsp. l.
- 6 art. l. plum sauce
- 2 tbsp. l. sweet chili sauce
Cooking
Step 1
Wash chicken wings, dry, put in a large enamel bowl. Prepare the marinade: peel the garlic, onion and ginger, finely chop the onion and garlic, grate the ginger on a fine grater; Remove seeds from chili peppers, finely chop. Mix everything with soy and oyster sauce.
Step 2
Pour the marinade over the chicken and mix thoroughly. Leave to marinate in a cold place for (the longer the better).
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 220°C. Transfer the chicken wings with the marinade to a baking dish, after laying it out with two layers of foil. Bake the wings for about 1 hour, turning occasionally and adding a little water to the dishes each time.
Step 4
Mix all sauce ingredients in a small bowl. Serve the finished wings with a sauce in which they need to be dipped, garnished with lemon or lime slices.
