Applesauce
This puree is perfect for dessert for small children, for ordinary pastries (pies, pies, tarts), for vegan ones (as a substitute for butter and eggs), and for making marshmallows.
Ingredients
- Antonovka apples 4 kg
- sugar 800 g
- water 1 l
Cooking
Step 1
Remove core from apples, peel, cut into 4-8 pieces. Transfer to a saucepan with a thick bottom.
Step 2
Pour in water so that it covers the apples completely, bring to a boil (the apples should be cooked by this time), drain the water.
Step 3
Puree apples with a blender, add sugar and cook, stirring constantly, for 30 minutes.
Step 4
Transfer the puree to sterilized jars and close the lid.
