Venezuelan sandwich
You will not find traditional bread in this recipe. Instead, corn tortilla is used. It wraps a wide variety of fillings. Almost no meal in Venezuela is complete without arepa, which means that you should definitely try it.
How to cook Venezuelan sandwich
Step 1
Thoroughly mix flour and salt, and then add warm water there.

Knead the dough. Make sure it's free of lumps. If the dough crumbles, add a little warm water to the desired consistency.

Roll the dough into a ball, and then form it into a small cake.
Step 4
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the arepas for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 5
Then place them in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Cut the tortillas in half and add the filling: brush with arepa olive oil, add chicken, diced onion and celery, top with avocado slices. Salt and pepper.
