Cooking
Step 1
Prepare ingredients for potato zrazy. Peel and very finely chop the onion. Melt some butter in a frying pan, add the onion and fry for 5 minutes. Add minced meat, increase heat, fry, breaking up minced meat with a wooden spoon so that it does not stick together into lumps until the color changes. Remove from heat, salt, pepper and set aside.
Step 2
Wash the potatoes with a brush and cook in boiling salted water until soft (this may take 15-25 minutes). Then carefully drain the water and rinse the tubers with cold water.
Step 3
Peel the potatoes from the skin, cool. Grate, mix with beaten eggs, melted butter (2 tablespoons), salt and pepper. Pour in enough flour to make a dough of medium density (so that you can sculpt it).
Step 4
With wet hands, make several small round cakes from the potato mass. Put some minced meat in the center of each and form round cutlets-zrazy.
Step 5
Roll the zrazy in flour and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides. At the same time, in a saucepan, fry in 3 tbsp. l. butter 2 tbsp. l. flour until brown. Pour in the milk, stirring all the time, cook until thickened. Add cream, salt, pepper. Serve potato zrazy with sauce.
