Pies with sorrel
Sorrel pies are prepared in the same way as any other stuffed pies. By the way, these pies are with a sweet filling, as we mix the sorrel with sugar.
How to cook Pies with sorrel
Step 1
For the dough, mix the sifted flour with kefir, sugar, soda, vegetable oil and salt. Knead a smooth soft dough. Form a ball, put in a bowl. Cover with a towel and leave for 30 minutes in a warm place.
Step 2
Finely chop the sorrel for the filling. Mix with the sugar with your hands, practically rubbing the resulting mixture.
Step 3
Take out the dough. Divide it into equal medium pieces. Each roll out a moderately thin cake. Put the filling in the center of each, carefully pinch the edges. Round the patties with your hands.
Step 4
Heat the vegetable oil and fry the pies in it on all sides. Lay out on paper towels to remove any remaining oil.
