How to cook Lithuanian borscht
Step 1
Boil the ham, adding salt and spices. Boil beets separately.
Step 2
Fry onions and carrots in oil.
Step 3
Remove the ham from the broth, put the potatoes, cut into small cubes, and cook until tender.
Step 4
Add vegetables, chopped ham and keep on fire for 2 minutes without boiling. Pour into bowls, top with sour cream.
