How to cook Hawthorn drink

Step 1

Sort the hawthorn fruits, rinse thoroughly, put in a saucepan and pour 1 liter of water. Put on fire, bring to a boil and cook without a lid for 25 minutes. Drain the water, and rub the hawthorn in small portions through a sieve into a bowl.

Step 2

Boil 2 liters of water in a separate bowl. Cool to room temperature. Dilute hawthorn puree with boiled water and let stand. Then strain through cheesecloth, add honey and lemon juice. Stir.
