Dumplings with strawberries and goose

Knedliks are a traditional dish of Czech cuisine. They are made from flour, cottage cheese or potatoes. And in Ukraine, cottage cheese dumplings with strawberries are prepared and seasoned with guslyanka - a thick creamy sauce with honey.

How to cook Dumplings with strawberries and goose

Step 1

Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve, add 4 beaten eggs, sugar and crackers. Mix and divide into 12 loaves.

Step 2

Sprinkle the table with breadcrumbs. Place 1 strawberry in the middle of each tortilla and shape the tortilla into a ball.

Step 3

Beat the egg, dip each ball in it, roll in breadcrumbs. Boil the dumplings in boiling water with sugar (1 tbsp. sugar per 1 liter of water) and mint until they float.

Step 4

For the sauce, boil the cream, add vanillin, honey, add beaten yolks and thicken with starch.
