How to cook Confiture from tomatoes
Step 1
Make a cross-shaped incision on the tomatoes and lower for 1-2 minutes. in boiling water, cool immediately. Remove the skin and clean out the seeds. Remove the zest from a third of the lemon and squeeze out the juice. Cut the tomatoes into cubes, add sugar, juice and lemon zest. Stir and leave in the refrigerator for 12 hours (overnight).
Step 2
The next day, put on fire and bring to a boil. Peel and grate the apple, add to the tomatoes. Put an asterisk star anise. Simmer over low heat until desired thickness, 30-40 minutes.
Step 3
Take out the star anise and pour in the cognac. Turn off the fire, let cool. Put in a clean jar and store at room temperature. Serve confiture with toast, warm baguette, cheese.
