How to cook Cold strawberry tea
Step 1
Prepare strawberry syrup. In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and sugar, place over medium heat and wait until the sugar is completely dissolved. Add the strawberries and simmer until very soft and the syrup thickens, about 10 minutes. Strain the syrup, remove the strawberries, they are no longer needed, and cool completely.
Step 2
Pour 2 cups of boiling water over tea bags and leave for 30 minutes. Remove tea bags.
Step 3
Fill a large pitcher with ice. In a bowl, combine strawberry syrup, iced tea, lemon juice and mineral water. Pour the drink into a pitcher with ice. Add a few thin slices of lemon. Pour into glasses and garnish with strawberries.
