How to cook Spicy cake
Step 1
Prepare the steam. Dissolve the yeast in warm milk, add a pinch of sugar and 2 tbsp. l. flour. Put in a warm place for 30 minutes. (The dough is considered ready when the yeast rises and falls).
Step 2
Mix flour, egg, yolk, remaining sugar, vanilla sugar, saffron and cardamom, add the dough and knead the dough. Add softened margarine and knead the dough until elastic. After that, put the dough back in a warm place to rise.
Step 3
Add raisins and candied fruits to the risen dough.
Step 4
Fill the prepared cake pan 1/4 full with dough and leave in a warm place. As soon as the dough has increased in volume to the top of the mold, place the cake in an oven preheated to 180 ° C and bake for 40 minutes.
Step 5
Cool the finished cake and remove from the mold.
Step 6
For the glaze, beat the protein with lemon juice, add powdered sugar in small portions. Apply glaze on Easter cake and decorate with candied fruits, jam, nuts.
