Roast Beef Sauce - FAQ About Ingredients, Baking Time and Storage

Yes, you can replace tuna with cooked chicken, smoked salmon, or even mashed avocado for a different flavor profile.
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Stir well before using as separation may occur.
Omit the tuna and add roasted mushrooms or mashed beans for a hearty vegetarian alternative.
Yes, whisk vigorously by hand, but blending ensures a smoother emulsion—especially when adding oil.
Try it with roast beef (of course!), grilled veggies, sandwiches, or as a dip for crispy potatoes.
Skip the sugar or use a keto-friendly sweetener. The sauce is already low-carb without modifications.
Freezing isn’t recommended—the emulsion may break when thawed. Prep fresh for best results.
Add a splash of warm water, broth, or lemon juice and blend until desired consistency is reached.
Freshly grated cheese melts smoother, but pre-grated works in a pinch (note: it may alter texture slightly).
