Description

The tastes of Far Eastern and European eaters are sometimes radically different. In particular, the Chinese prefer to eat noodles completely boiled. Therefore, do not take to heart the funny instructions printed on the pack. It is better to separate a small part of the product and check how it behaves during cooking. It may be that your noodles are enough to soak.

Cooking

Step 1

Peel the ginger, cut into thin strips, put in a saucepan. Add all the zest, pour in the coconut milk, put on high heat, bring to a boil. Pour sugar, stir in cold water. And transparent noodles (the one that looks like it is made of polyethylene, but in fact it is made of germinated soybeans) just need to be put in boiling water for 15–20 minutes.

Step 2

Add noodles, boil until almost cooked, remove from heat. Add chopped mango, whole strawberries and lychee, mix gently. Serve in deep bowls.

Ingredients

1 cm piece of fresh ginger
a pinch of lemon zest
a pinch of lime zest
100 ml of coconut milk
sugar - 1 tbsp.
80 g rice noodles
half a mango
3 strawberries
3 lychees
