Radish salad with pomegranates for the New Year
The combination of radish and pomegranate is the base of the famous Uzbek salad "Tashkent", from which boiled beef was removed. If you want a lighter and more budget option, just grate the radish and mix it with pomegranate seeds. As a dressing, we used pomegranate juice, and you can use olive mixed with a drop of balsamic vinegar.
How to cook Radish salad with pomegranates for the New Year
Step 1
Peel 3 medium green radishes, cut first into thin slices and then into long, thin strips.
Step 2
Choose 1 large sour pomegranate, cut into 4 parts. From one quarter, select the grains, squeeze the juice from the remaining 3.
Step 3
Pour the radish with pomegranate juice, mix, leave for 15 minutes. Onion cut into thin half rings.
Step 4
Transfer the salad to a large plate, sprinkle with pomegranate seeds, garnish with onions and serve.
