Pickled Tomatoes with Sweet Peppers
Delicious, fragrant pickled tomatoes with sweet peppers in winter will remind you of the past bright summer, help you save money on food in winter and will be a great addition to side dishes.
Ingredients
Servings 7- tomatoes 700-750 g
- sweet pepper 3 pcs.
- coriander sprigs 3 pcs.
- sprigs of dill 6 pcs.
- change 2 hrs. l.
- sugar 2 tbsp. l.
- black peppercorns 15 pcs.
- acetic acid 70% 1 tsp.
- bay leaf 3 pcs.
Cooking
Step 1
Prepare jars for pickled tomatoes for the winter. Wash and dry the jars in the oven or microwave. Put bay leaves, sprigs of cilantro and dill, peppercorns in clean jars.
Step 2
Then peeled and coarsely chopped sweet peppers, put the tomatoes tightly in jars.
Step 3
Pour in boiling water. Let stand 15 min.
Step 4
Drain and refill with fresh boiling water. Let stand 15 min.
Step 5
Pour 900 ml of water into a saucepan, add sugar and salt. Let it boil, add acetic acid (1 teaspoon).
Step 6
Pour marinade into jars with stacked tomatoes and peppers.
Step 7
Close lids. Turn the jars of pickled tomatoes over and cover with something warm, leave to cool completely.
