Passat sauce is used as an ingredient for many dishes, I offer a recipe for an amazing passata from vegetables and spices.

Ingredients

  • onion - 50 g
  • garlic - 1 tooth
  • bunch of basil
  • salt - 1/2 h. l.
  • ground paprika - 1/2 tbsp. l.
  • chili 1/2 pc.
  • olive oil - 15 ml
  • honey - 1 tbsp. l.
  • chopped tomatoes in water (or fresh) - 1 kg
  • onion - 100 g
  • carrots - 50 g
  • garlic - 2 teeth
  • ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp.
  • olive oil - 50 ml
  • sol - 1 h. l.
  • dill, parsley

Cooking

Step 1

First stage. If you use fresh tomatoes, then you need to scald them, peel them and cut into cubes. Place the tomatoes in a saucepan and place over medium heat. Cut the carrots into thin rings, add to the pan.

Step 2

Cut the onion into cubes, finely chop the dill and parsley. Put everything into a saucepan. Add olive oil, salt, pepper. Stir, close the lid and cook for 20-30 minutes.

Step 3

Second phase. Finely chop the onion and chili, fry in a saucepan in olive oil.

Step 4

Add salt, paprika, finely chopped basil.

Step 5

Transfer to a saucepan. Close the lid and cook for another 15-20 minutes. Stir in honey and grind with a blender. The sauce is ready.
