Strawberry jam
By preparing strawberry jam according to the recipe, you can get an ideal product as a sweetener for many dishes (cottage cheese, pancakes, fritters, oatmeal, etc.), a filling for various baked goods and a tasty way to improve your mood. How to cook Strawberry jam
Step 1

Prepare the strawberries. Place the berries in a deep bowl. Mash them until smooth. Place the mashed strawberries in a saucepan (not metal).
Step 2

Cook the first batch. Pour all the sugar into the strawberry puree. Bring to a boil, constantly stirring the strawberry-sugar mixture. When it boils, reduce the heat to medium and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover with a napkin and leave in a cool place for 8 hours.
Step 3

Finish the cooking process. After 8 hours, put the almost ready jam back on the fire. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to minimum and cook for 5 minutes. Don't forget to stir constantly. Remove from heat, set aside to cool.
Step 4

Preserve the jam. Pour the jam into sterilized jars, roll up the lids. Let the jars cool completely, then put them in a cool place.
