Scotch eggs
Scotch eggs are a traditional British dish that consists of boiled eggs fried in minced meat with a crust of breadcrumbs. Any minced meat you have on hand will do for this dish.
How to cook Scotch eggs
Step 1
Prepare the mince. In a bowl, mix the mince, egg, onion, parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
Step 2
Then form an oval flatbread (approximately 12x7 cm) from the mince. Roll the boiled egg in a mixture of flour and spices, then wrap it in the mince, roll it in the beaten egg and then in the bread crumbs. Repeat with all the eggs and mince.
Step 3
Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the eggs in the minced meat for 8-9 minutes on both sides until golden brown and the minced meat is ready.
