Rings made of custard dough
How to cook Rings made of custard dough
Step 1
1. Separate the yolks from the whites. Pour water into a saucepan, add oil, salt and sugar, put on high heat and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Without removing from heat, add flour and stir until the dough begins to easily separate from the walls of the dish. Remove from heat and, continuing to knead the dough, add the yolks one at a time. If the dough turned out to be very thick, you need to add another 1-2 yolks. The finished dough should flow smoothly, like thick sour cream, from a raised spatula. 2. Preheat the oven to 180º C. Sprinkle a baking sheet lightly with flour. Place the dough on a baking sheet in the form of rings at a distance of 3-4 cm from one another. Place the tray in the oven. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the pan from the oven. 3. Prepare the filling. Heat the cream without boiling. Beat the yolks with cornstarch and powdered sugar. Whisking constantly, pour in the hot cream. Put on low heat and cook, whisking constantly, until the cream thickens. Remove from fire. 4. Fill the finished rings with the filling. 5. Put the chocolate and butter in a bowl, place it in a mixing container filled with hot water. After a few minutes, the chocolate will melt and mix with the butter. 6. From a mixture of butter and chocolate, make a chocolate "mesh" on the rings. Let the chocolate harden.
