Oatmeal jelly with milk and vanilla
How to cook Oatmeal jelly with milk and vanilla
Step 1
Pour oatmeal into a deep bowl, pour warm milk over them. Leave to swell for 20 min.
Step 2
Set a sieve lined with gauze in two layers over the pan. Strain milk with oatmeal. At the end, connect the edges of the gauze, squeeze the oatmeal from the remaining liquid (you can cook porridge from the cake).
Step 3
Pour about 100 ml of liquid into a glass and dissolve the starch in it, stirring until smooth.
Step 4
Put the saucepan with the remaining milk on a slow fire. Pour sugar into it, add vanilla and let it boil. After boiling, add diluted starch, stirring constantly so that there are no lumps. Bring the mixture back to a boil and then reduce the heat to low. Cook the jelly until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 5-10 minutes.
Step 5
Cool the jelly, pour into glasses or cups. Sprinkle sugar on top and serve for dessert.
