Meat pancakes with potatoes and herbs

Description

Fragrant lamb and a lot of greens give an amazing result. While the pancakes are fried, the whole family comes running to the smell. So get ready for more!

Cooking

Step 1

Cut the lamb into small pieces, turn through a meat grinder with a medium grate. Grate the potatoes on the smallest grater, lightly squeeze out the excess liquid with your hands.

Step 2

Coarsely chop parsley and cilantro. Free the hot pepper from the seeds. Put the herbs and peppers in a blender bowl and chop. Peel the onion and chop finely.

Step 3

Mix minced meat, potatoes, onions and herbs in a large bowl, salt, pepper and mix well.

Step 4

Heat olive oil in a large heavy bottomed skillet. Scoop up 1 tbsp. l. minced meat and place in the pan. Spoon the minced meat into a 0.5 cm thick flat cake. Fry over high heat until golden brown, 2 minutes. Then turn over and fry on the other side until done.

Step 5

Slice the tomatoes into 5mm thick slices. Arrange pancakes on a platter, alternating with circles of tomatoes. Sprinkle with black pepper and serve hot or cold.

500 g lamb meat
1 large potato
large bunch of cilantro
5 sprigs of parsley
1 medium onion
1/3 green hot pepper
olive oil
salt, freshly ground black pepper
3-4 tomatoes for serving
