Tender tortilla with meat

A tender tortilla with stretchy cheese and crispy meat will go well with both an everyday lunch and a festive table decoration. An unusual Mexican dish with corn flour tortillas will attract the attention of all guests and leave an exceptionally good impression.
How to cook Tender tortilla with meat
Step 1

Prepare the dough, pour the sifted flour onto the table, make a well in it, add some water and gradually mix the ingredients together. Cut the butter into small pieces and mix it in as well.
Step 2

Divide the dough into 8 pieces and let them rest for about 30 minutes, cover the pieces with a towel. Then roll out the cakes with a rolling pin to a diameter of up to 10 cm.
Step 3

Simmer the chicken trimmings with the cream over medium heat for about 10 minutes to evaporate any excess liquid, add the pepper mixture to the meat and let it soak up the flavors for a bit.
Step 4

Place some chicken trimmings, diced tomatoes on half of the rolled out crust, sprinkle with grated cheese and finely chopped green onions on top, fold the flatbread in half and bake in a frying pan until golden brown, no more than 10 minutes on each side.
