How to cook Shopska salad

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Wash the peppers, pat dry and place on a baking sheet lined with foil. Drizzle or brush peppers with oil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, cover with cling film and leave for 10 minutes, then remove the skin from the peppers and remove the core.

Step 2

Wash tomatoes and cucumbers. Peel the onion. Cut pepper and cucumber into strips, tomatoes into slices, onion into rings. Bryndza cut into large cubes. Put all the vegetables in a bowl, mix and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 3

Mix vinegar with oil. Salt and pepper generously. Fill the salad.
