How to cook Pearl barley with meat
Step 1

Cut the carrots into thin slices.

Cut the pork into small pieces.
Step 3

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the pork for 5-7 minutes until golden brown. Salt and pepper the meat to taste.

Add carrots and spices to the pan. Stir and fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add pearl barley and water to the pan.
Step 6

Bring the water to a boil, reduce heat and cover the dish with a lid.
Step 7

Simmer the pearl barley for 30-40 minutes until done.
