Orange cake with chocolate
Cooking
Step 1
Heat milk (up to 40 degrees), add 100 g of flour, yeast and 1 tsp. sugar, mix well and put in heat for 40-50 minutes. Melt the butter and cool, squeeze about 100 ml of juice from the oranges and warm it up a little, remove the eggs from the refrigerator in advance. Add orange juice, mashed eggs with sugar, butter, salt to the dough and mix well. Add the rest of the flour and knead the dough. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place.
Step 2
Finely chop the orange peel, put in a pan and add 2-3 tbsp. l. sugar and 50 ml orange juice. Fry over medium heat while stirring. Finely chop the chocolate, but do not grate.
Step 3
Knead the risen dough again, add the fried peels and orange zest and chocolate. Knead well so that everything disperses according to the dough. Arrange in greased forms into 1/2 parts, cover with a towel and put in a warm place to fit. Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. After about 5 minutes after being ready, carefully remove the cakes from the molds (otherwise it will be more difficult later).
Step 4
Glaze: beat the cooled protein until a strong foam, add powdered sugar in portions and continue to beat until soft peaks (or even until stable). Apply frosting to cookies.
