Tea, Oranges, Hot drinks

Tea with orange

If you want to cheer yourself up on a cloudy evening, prepare orange tea and fully enjoy its invigorating taste and dizzying aroma! There is nothing complicated in this recipe, and the ingredients are quite accessible to everyone. As for oranges, take any: the main thing is that they are ripe. By the way, we strongly recommend adding sugar to such tea, as it makes citrus notes even more expressive. And even if you usually prefer unsweetened drinks, in this case it is worth making an exception.

Ingredients

Servings 2 servings
  • orange - 1 pc.
  • drinking water - 500 ml
  • black tea - 2 tsp
  • sugar – 2–4 h. l.

Cooking

Step 1

Prepare all ingredients. Wash the orange thoroughly with a brush to remove the layer of wax that citrus fruits usually cover, then dry well with a towel.

Step 2

Remove the zest with a fine grater. Then cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice out of them. Place the zest in a jug or dipper. Fill with boiling water, close the container and leave for 10 minutes.

Step 3

Strain the infusion of zest and bring to a boil. Pour boiling water over the teapot. Pour black tea inside. Pour boiling orange infusion over, close and leave for 5 minutes. Pour into glasses, add orange juice and sugar to each.
