Roast reindeer with lingonberries

Ingredients

Servings 1
  • 200 g venison fillet
  • 30 g pork fat
  • 30 ml drinking water
  • soaked cranberries for serving
  • salt, freshly ground black pepper

Cooking

Step 1

Slice the venison thinly across the grain. Cut the salo and heat it up in a frying pan.

Step 2

Add venison and sauté until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. Salt, pepper.

Step 3

Pour in water and cover with a lid. Cook until meat is tender, 15 minutes. Serve with soaked cranberries. If desired, add potatoes, tomatoes and parsley.
