Redcurrant juice

Red currant is a small berry containing a large amount of vitamins (especially A, C, P), pectin, iodine, trace elements, mineral salts and other useful substances. Red currant juice, which can be cooked from fresh or frozen berries, has an antipyretic, bactericidal, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. We have prepared a recipe for a delicious drink with gentle heat treatment to preserve the beneficial properties of the berry as much as possible.
How to cook Redcurrant juice
Step 1

Mash the red currants with a wooden pestle or blender, squeeze the juice through cheesecloth or a sieve. Put the juice in the refrigerator.
Step 2

Pour cold water over the pulp, add sugar, put on the fire. After boiling, cook the mixture for 5-6 minutes.
Step 3

Strain the broth through a sieve, let it cool, then mix with the juice.
Step 4
Serve redcurrant juice chilled.
